Oregonian,
WOW, I am not sure if you expected to get the feedback on this thread as you are getting. I agree with the majority of the comments. This site over the past year for me has been the best tool for information, news and friend making of Airstream folk. As for drop-downs, I haven't seen them. As said before maybe the problems you are having are inherent to your computer etc, you think?

I'm on dial-up internet and don't have access to high-speed, so this website is great because it doesn't have all the fancy graphics and pictures that have to be uploaded to view many of the "newer" websites. For me, high tech equals slow loading...
Exaggeration doesn't help. I can't find anywhere near a "thousand" drop-downs, most of the tabs are actually relevant to what I am looking for and as for "textbook" rules... there are many textbooks out there that all say something different.

Spell check with explorer:
When through composing a post, click on the ABC check mark icon on upper right of message composition box. If the explorer spell check Add-on is not already on your computer you will be given a link to a web site to down load the spell checker. One installed it will spell check every time you click on the icon.
At least that is what happened for me.

Bob, is that you ?????
seriously, now, web developers are a dime-a-dozen. really good web developers are hard to find. truly great developers are worth their weight in whatever it is you value highly....
perhaps you'd like to take your own advice. you could try the Medford Campus at Rogue Community College. look up CS195, CS196, and CS295 for a start. here, let me help you find it - Rogue Community College
when you're done, and then have a stronger basis for such a poor opinion of Airforums, please come back and perhaps you could offer constructive criticism instead....

ditto. if you want to bitch like that, then offer a real solution, too, please?

You may be viewing threads in the wrong mode...when you are in a thread look at the upper right hand corner where you see "Thread Mode"...drop that window and select "Linear Mode"...that may be easier fro you to navigate...
Actually once you learn the basics, this site is rather easy to navigate. And if you do have trouble there are always moderators who are happy to help you...if you just ask. That might be more useful than throwing a bomb.

thanks for your always reasoned and considerate point of view, TBRich.

and as many are aware, Oregonian would likely be suffering the "miserable users hack" about 15 nanoseconds after his post at WBCCI, had he made it there.
the really good news about Airforums is that you can disagree without being disagreeable, AND, the mods here are reasonably tolerant when folks occasionally slip into moments of disagreeability.
this is a cooperative website.... try that approach instead, Oregonian.
