I really hadn't noticed the registry page until today. I posted some photos, etc. on our trailer. Nice addition to the forum.

It's fun to check in regularly and see who has added their trailers and who has added additional pictures and comments as well. This is an outstanding feature. A great Christmas present from Andy and the team

Don't forget you can also see a member's entries from their posts (see attachment).

We have collected lots of feedback and will be rolling out a new version of the input process which will standardize all the data. Once that is done and we clean up the data that has already been input then we will create some more reports showing "the registry" by make/model/year. It's the foundation for some really cool stuff.

Andy, are there any thoughts on adding where it was made? It is kind of interesting to see the number of California vs Ohio streams...

Short answer = yes.

Long answer is we are going to redo the way you input data so that it's all uniform. Once you navigate down to the year then model you will be presented options for that specific year/model combo. I suspect it will take some time (possibly years) to fine tune the system to all the variations but together we should slowly chip away at that.

When it's done you will be able to search the system however you want. You could even do a query to see Cali built units from 1961 to 1963 and it will show you the different models made out there during those years with photos and links to the Registry Entry.

So if I am thinking of uploading a bunch of pictures to fill in my registry, should I hold off a while until some of this re-work is done in order to save from having to re-do it later?

Thank you. The registry is brillant!

We're looking forward to version 2.0 with the ability to add serial numbers, register more than three trailers and perhaps drop down menus for the model and length fields.

Np, you can upload them now. The changes will be to the input process and we will clean up all the existing entries by hand (model, length, etc) to make sure they are all uniform moving forward.

Tim, I am having to do the upgrades manually for the time being. I will get this setup tomorrow as our little 10 week old daughter is cry and Mom is staring at me to come help her!

With the holidays I missed reading this thread. I was beginning to see members' registry but didn't know more about it. Well I am in the registry now and I think it is a very cool forum feature. I hope everyone signs up. Was there a forum e-mail that I might have missed announcing this feature? If not perhaps everyone will register after being directed to this new feature. As I said I have been very busy and only beginning to catch up now after new years. Thanks Andy I love it!! It's fun to click or even go to the listings and see what Airstreams everyone has. It also lets you play around with different avatars other than the Airstream picture. Neat.
