Tapatalk forum interface for Iphone

While accessing another forum via my iPhone, an add popped up about an iPhone app called Tapatalk. It costs 3.00 bucks for iPhone but is supposed to be free for the forum moderator to activate on the forum side. It makes the forum native when accessed via iPhone. Anyone tried it?

If you can hang on just a little longer, we are having a custom app developed for the forum and it will be FREE. One of the issues we have found with off the shelf apps is that the many customized sections of the forum just don't work very well...

Thanks, that is good news. I avoid this forum on my iPhone almost completely. Just not a good interface for the small screen.

It's already gone to the developer, so your guess is as good as mine. Once it's done we'll make it available asap.

Will it be only for the iPhone, or for BlackBerry also?

If it's not compatible with iPhone, Android and Blackberry it's a wasted effort.

To anyone following this thread waiting for a smartphone app, it would seem that we're in business. There is an "AIR Forums" app in the Android Market and reportedly also in the iPhone app store (I don't have an iPhone so I can only repeat what I've heard.) I found the app in the Android market by searching for "airstream" rather than "air forum"... I don't remember exactly what my first couple of searches were but they weren't successful. The app itself is quite nice.

Unfortunately the creators of the app don't yet support Blackberry... that rules out quite a few smartphone people. It's probably good (for me) that it keeps me from reading the forums on my work phone, though.

We are hoping to have a Blackberry and Windows Phone 7 app at some point in the future.

Tapatalk is a fantastic App. I use it for to browse several forums on my mobile device. The user experience is excellent. Is it possible Airforums can flip the necessary switches to enable this? It's free and would certainly draw more visits to the Airforums.
