What are the file extensions you are using?

It looks like...
The image on your computer has a funny file extension. Make sure it is .jpg or .gif. In this case it looks like you have a space at the end of the extensions name. Once it is named properly you will be able to upload it!

I will
immediately check that. It is entirely possible. I saved and resized these images a few times. They should be .jpg
If there is a space, then i probably deleted the copy part of the file extension by using the space bar. This was about to drive me crazy - i fugured it's gotta be my doing, because others have posted pictures since mine went up.
Thanks for the info. I guess you can check out my other beach pics soon.......

Voila'
It worked. i removed the unnoticed spaces behind the file extensions and that took care of the problem. Thanks again for the help.

Don't forget you can organize with Albums!
You will see a link near the top of the www.airstreamphotos.com interface that says "albums". If click there you can create personal albums and organize your photos by trip, etc...

PHOTO DELETING
I figured this is as good a place as any to ask....
Are they working on fixing the problem with the ability for members to delete their own photos in the photo gallery?
I can deal with the silly photo of me ...I'm used to it now...but I would like to revise my plan photo and was wondering if the moderators could make it so I may delete my own photos.
Perhaps the writers of the program know how to correct that problem.
It's no hurry but I'm sure there will come a time when others will want to delete photos too.

Please try again...
If it still does not work, I will need to open a trouble ticket with the script's author. Sorry. Andy

Problems from Mac?
Has anyone tried to post photos using a Mac? I've been trying unsuccessfully - I keep getting error "creating thumbnail" or "bad file - please notify administrator" errors. I've resized, and made sure JPG's are being used. I also checked for spaces as well without luck - time of day does not seem to matter, as I've tried at night as well as day. HELP!
thanks!

no permission granted
I still didn't get permission to remove photos....I don't know about other folks. Sorry to be a pain about it. I really enjoyed going all through all the photos a while back.
When I go to my profile and try and go to my photos I get this:
"CGIWrap Error: Execution of this script not permitted
Execution of (/home/sites/site42/web/photos/index.pl) is not permitted for the following reason:
Script file not found."
Maybe it doesn't know me for some reason although I am signed in.

You made sure your file name ended with a lower case .jpg extension?

photo postings
Thanks for the help, but when I attempted a 66k size photo with lowercase "jpg" I got "Error code 154 Command: / usr/local/magick/bin/mogrgy - format jpg - border 2x2 - bordercolor black - geometry 0x100" This is my most common error message. Any clues? I would really like to show you my weathertorn paint on my "new" trailer. :> The neighbors love it!

John - I looked again at some of my photo sizes - before resizing (down) two were 153K at 640x640 - 72pix/inch Too big? (although I did scale down some to approx 60K)
Thanks - Marc
