Speed of "Air Forums"

Just wondering if something could be done to speed up the downloads when navigating from one area of this forum to another. Regardless of where I go, it seems to be quite slow. Now I know I don't have the fastest connection on my end, however, any site other than "Air Forums" is quite a bit faster. Could it be that each page has so much irrelevant info such as the caravan pic, as an example, that this is what slows it down?

All, please forgive my impatience if it is just me.

Well, if you become a "supporting member" you get some speed because there is less ad clutter.

The pages are dense graphically and a lot of keystrokes address the various data bases. Even with a nuclear DSL line, it won't ever load at warp speed.

It is free so there have to be some sponsors...

It loads very quickly for me on a home DSL connection. I think it may be on your connecting end?

A different browser might speed things up a tad.

Thanks all, I was just wondering. I do appreciate and use the site and still will. I know there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes and a "much appreciated" to those folks.
