I agree with 'bbdo'. I recently retired after 30 years in the enterprise IT space. Your solution is an overkill and should never slow down your users for that matter, unless your are under attack.

I don't know if it's because I use Mac OS or I'm just lucky but, I haven't experienced any problems on this or the several other forums I frequent. Thank you moderators for your diligence and hard work!

Quite a few rv-related sites have suffered DDOS attacks in recent weeks. I frequent several general and several brand-specific forums, and all but two have had problems in the past couple of weeks. One of them is still a bit "under the weather" but expects a full recovery soon.

Patience is certainly called for.

We have had server problems over the past 12 hours or so and they continue. We are working on this but expect there may be some more down time today. That said, there is no DDOS or other malicious activity - we just have some hardware problems. Thanks for your patience.
