Server Update tonight (Thursday)
Folks we have a server upgrade planned and anticipate that the forum will be offline for a little while late in the evening EST. Once we're back online you should see increased page load speed. Thanks in advance for your patience.
Please remember to check the Remember Me box when you log back in after the update.

FYI
I'm would assume you know, and are already working on, but this morning my iPad app automatically closed out a couple of times. So I went on my MacBook and lots of blue ?'s all over the place.
Thanks for your hard work helping to keep the forums running smoothly.

Same issue
It appears to be an issue specific to the Portal landing page, mine has the same broken image links in both Safari on my MacBook and in IE on my PC.

Ditto in Chrome on Win7 and Chrome on a Linux machine, haven't tried any of the other browsers or OS yet.

Who's to say that Janet's NOT the younger generation? It's a truism about women that, no matter how many months past their 29th birthday they might be, they're still not yet 30!

FYI
I'm still having issues with my iPad app. It might be my iPad. It's a first generation iPad.
Not always but most of the time, when I go to open a thread, I get either a gray screen or a connection error. I then go back and it opens the second try with out a problem.
Example: I tap current, on the bottom, and the list comes up. Then I tap one of the threads and I get the gray screen. Then I tap current in the top lift corner to go back. Then I tap the thread again and it opens fine.
This also happens when I am on my subscribed list.
Thanks

Janet, the SEARCH function doesn't work on my thread anymore. Could that be a consequence of the up-grade?

Same exact experience for me. (Btw - is your picture the same as tiger's? ).
I'm still using the old app - haven't upgraded for fear of losing features identified in the forum. Sorry!

Well yes. That might be because I am Tiger. Well formally Tiger. I just had my user name changed. Tiger is no longer with us. Loved to go anywhere with us. Camping and Geocaching. We had a wonderful 13 years with her. Tiger was a Greshepador. At least that's what we told people. Mix of Great Dane, German Shepard, and Labrador. She was brindle in color, hence the name Tiger.
So for now the name change. Someday it might have to change again, like maybe Tiger Jr.

My first gen iPad is doing the same thing as described by GeocamperAS above. Are the changes being made only good for gen 3/4/5? Are compatibility issues between iOS genEratIons going to force me to ditch my vintage device? Or should I just ditch the App and use Safari when on the iPad? That wouldn't be an issue if the "there is an App for this site" didn't keep popping up.

You definitely need a new iPad - maybe with a nice leather cover. Your wife will need a new android tablet to go with covering your basis is .. prudent
