Scammers may be pretty soft on haggling and will agree to the full price readily. They'll often have somebody else pick up your item and deliver a cashier's check to you. For more, read

Avoid fraud. Be aware that there are unscrupulous folks out there. Avoid any interaction that seems odd to you or 'feels' wrong. Inquiries from overseas buyers, buyers 'agents' and other non-traditional approaches should be treated with extreme caution.
