Looks like a good one is off to an early lead.
This has been an interesting process, watching the various options, and the choices made.

But you never know...a sleeper can always come up from behind!
Too soon to tell...right now with <15 voters represented.
We had over 200 in each of the earlier rounds.

well sadly the primary result of this polling process is...

it's very hard to keep folks interested for long,

and very few really do hang/post/play here....

from the 20k.

perhaps the power, presence and participation in the forums is over estimated....

tag line or not....

cheers
2air'

new options 2 consider....

'lighter than air'
'thinner than air'
'riding on a virtual stream of air'
and so on...

so vote early and vote often. open a new account and vote twice or thrice!

The voting process and the numbers who are participating is consistent with most on line voting that I've been a participant or facilitator of. Most people just enjoy the site and the content and are not particularly interesting in what the tag line ends up being.

This is coming to a head very quickly now and it is neat to see how it has funneled down to this group. As always, it seems, the one's I particularly liked are long gone, and even worse, after seeing all the others, I didn't particularly care for my original offerings.

Has anyone considered....

.... That many of the members are out camping instead of reading the posts right now! I think that may be the reason for so few voters participating in this poll at this time of the year. Think of how many votes could be posted to this or any other poll if it were done in November or December, when all but the Snowbirds have their silver children tucked safely in for the winter! They probably would have more time to vote were they not busy touring the vast countrysides of America. I know I spend more of my time reading about "All Aluminum All the Time" whenever I'm cooped up during a snow storm. Ed

As Andy has stated earlier...his intention is to winnow it down then have an email vote from all members in the last round. So everybody will have a personal invitation to participate in the process.

Even if the first three rounds run their course in a month, most active members - even when traveling - have the opportunity to log on in that period of time.

all right now that it's whittled down, i'm going to chime in but understand that these are my opinions and solely based on my opinions. i have no facts to support anything i say or claim.

i think the "all aluminum all the time" sounds like a bunch of meatheads sitting around doing whatever meatheads do who have a slogan "all aluminum all the time" (if this slogan is ultimately selected, i will deny i've said anything).

i think the taglines with "riveting" in them sounds too cliche and not really creative, nothing special with any of theses.

the only one i like is the one submitted by yours truly "for the aluminum lifestlye" but i'm sure it will disappear after this round is over (especially after this post, there'll probably be a surge in "all aluminum all the time").

it's still a fun process and thanks andy for throwing it out to the masses. i'm not so sure i'd be so diplomatic....

After voting in rounds 1 and 2, not seeing any of my selections in round 3, I thought I should finally ask, "What is a tagline?"
