I am new to the forum...we just bought a 1975 27ft Overlander International and we're now starting the adventure of restoring...the first on the agenda is to replace the RM100 refer which has outlived its long life...its now been removed...reading the many posts on this forum it's not clear to me what may be a suitable replacement that's available...any and all suggestions and guidance will be gladly received...my ears work.
The overall condition is very good, no floor rot or sagging...fired'up the Armstrong AC which blows cold "noisy" air at low-fan...the power converter needs replaced...when all inside is done then the outside starts...polish...ugh!
Thanks for a great forum...Cheers/John

You can google rv refrigerator replacement chart and get Dometic and Norcold size charts to see whats current.
They seem to not be happy with making any standard size for long, we had to modify the cabinet to replace the refer in our Excella with what they now offer.

The best I can find is the RM2820 is the most "near" replacement for the RM100...can anyone tell me if the RM2820 is still available, and if'not what's a close substitute ?...also looking for information/stories/experience on restoring a 1975 27ft Overlander International, rear bath Airstream...thanks for a great forum...John
Still looking for guidance from someone with the same issue...looks like I will be required to rebuild the space for a new refer...Thanks again/John
On our '74, I was able to install the 2652, and place it on a pair of 2x4s, with a piece of paneling across the front to enclose it. The 8 cubic foot version would have required cutting the cabinet above the fridge to get it to fit.

Thanks overlander63, that's the best advise for a replacement...following a new frig I plan to redo the kitchen with a new range/oven and a new dining area...then the work starts on the mid to back end...all is good. Thanks again.
