When replying to a post,how do you "quote" a single sentence rather than a whole paragraph or the whole post?
Mark
Mark,
A couple of ways...you can use the "quote" button and just delete the unwanted text or you can copy and paste the sentence you want and put quote tags on either side of it like this {quote} {/quote} (except you have to use the square brackets) that will signal the software to put the words between it in a quote.

You can also copy text into the editing window, highlight it, and then click on the button above the editing box that looks like a word-ballon from the comics. It will add the quote tags for you.

If you want the "Originally Posted by UserID" included use {quote="User's Name"} instead of just {quote} at the beginning. Again, ending with {/quote} and using the square brackets instead of the curly ones.

If you end up with an extra {quote} like above, it's because you didn't "end quote" with the {/quote} at the end or in other words, you had both the [quote} and the {quote="UserID"} next to each other...and only one {/quote} at the end. Either delete the first {quote} or add an {/quote}
Welcome to HTML 101...you have to finish everything you start!
