It took me awhile.... "how come I don't see what 'they' see????" OOHHH! A public folder! Now I'm posted correctly!

This is a neat feature - never noticed it before!

Thanks for bringing up the confusion issue marc... for clarity:

An avatar is the little tiny picture that appears under your user name in each post you make. It is also visable in you User CP on the left side of window.

The profile picture is a larger image that is viewable only in your User Profile and shows on the right hand side of the same window.

This weekend I will be back in Austin for the Texas Tech vs Texas game with the Texas Tech Sports Network on the sidelines for the radio broadcast.
