Try logging on from SEA.
Never mind the fact that you have a direct cable, wire, or phone line connection to the web or atleast your satellite dish is a fixed mount - while I'm at sea I have to chase this D&m# keyboard around to type in what I want, finding the wireless mouse is another issue. In 20 foot seas I can only imagine what the C-band antenna is doing in the dome on the mast. Then I deal with the connection time outs and I can't even get to the pasted text to resend. But, I still try to get here each day and read all the posts I can, this is truely one of the best sites on the web for me. But here I sit, still trying - and thanking Andy for creating this site.
I know all about logging on at 0300 EST - that's the middle of the day for me. Count your blessings - this is the fourth TYPHOON AVOIDANCE RUN I've made this month. No fun.
Until it gets more difficult to log on than it is to find the right cabinet latch for a 66 Caravel
- I'll keep readiing and logging on here. I've received more help here in my restoration than any place else.
