I have noticed the same issue. The only way I can get in is to find a address in my history that leads to a page other than the portal page, then follow links back to the portal.

Hi Jim. I don't know what was up. There was a broad outage for a while; eg, the last post before yours was at 1:43AM on the NorCal Casini Ranch rally thread. Only 23 people currently signed up is another indication. Everything seems to be working now!

I know this is a chronic problem that the webmaster is aware of. Just thought it was apropos to mention again. No big deal. It will get fixed when it gets fixed.

I could watch paint dry in less time than it takes to post a new message with image. I cannot see who posted karma on my commercial account (ASL_store). I cannot do a search with my Firefox browser without going to advanced search. What's up?

Ok, I’ve contributed money, advice and other things to these forums. I’ve donated many more than my share of free inspections and have given free parts to other members. I have hooked a few fellow members up with very nice trailers.
Now in addition to the problems I mentioned in the above post, I’m getting ads on the left side of my screen, causing the need to scroll sideways to read the posts.
Any advice on correcting the problems I’m experiencing would be welcome. I can’t imagine that I’m the only one with these problems. I’m not asking special favor, just calling attention to some issues which might need to be addressed in the interest of all members. The issue with s l o w page loading is my main concern. I have broadband connection and do not experience this issue on other web sites.

Rog, you've tried all the usual stuff like deleting cooikes and so on?

Yep, been there, done that. That would not resolve the other issues I mentioned on searching with Firefox and no karma source for commercial vendors.
