posting help please

How do I show a earlier post in my reply giving credit to whom I'm answering?
These are usually in a shaded box so people will know what I am referring too.

Instead of "reply," click "quote", as I just did.

When you are using the edit window, you copy the “Square Bracket quote” and “Square Bracket /quote” tags and paste the in the appropriate places. It helps if you know html, which is similar. They are start and stop tags. Then, you just put your comments in between. That’s how I put in the multiple replies on this thread: Burned 310 classic moho - questions.

Gee, we had a similar question yesterday. That makes finding previous posts easy. Thanks! The discussion started here.

so I'll start here!! Went to the St. Cloud RV show and saw some neat stuff. A flat panel TV was mounted in the cupboard door, so you could just open it and still use the space behind it. Another flat TV was mounted on a swivel in the bedroom/living room divider so you could face it into the room that you wanted. 2 questions?? Does one really need 3 TV's to go camping? and in Minnesnowda, where we set low temp records every winter, would not these TV's freeze if left in unheated storage?? joqin wants to know!! happy camping.

Basic HTML for quotes

Looks like you are missing the commands...you need the "[" & [/] around the word "QUOTE" at the begining and end. Should look like the .jpg image below. If you put an "=" then someone's name it will show at the beginning of the quote.

Make sense?

Example one:
Quote:
"I'll know where I am when I get there"
Example two:

If you want multiple quotes, just use the [-quote-] or the [-quote=name-] command before and the [-/quote-] comand after (without the "-") before & after each section you want quoted.

Rivet Missing Posts

Hi, Support Folks,
I am missing posts that people have added to my thread since 6/8. Today, I see that someone added a post this afternoon, but it does not appear in the thread.

Here's the thread:
http://www.airforums.com/forums/f116...ath-41758.html

The last post I see -- and I have hit "refresh" on the browser a few times to be sure my browser isn't loading a previously cached page -- is 6/8/08 at 5:07 a.m.

I see in my User CP where my thread is subscribed, that someone posted today at 3:36 p.m.

Please advise me on how to find the missing posts since 6/8/08.

Thank you,
Anne

In your user cp change your settings a bit:
Click on user cp (upper blue bar)
Find edit options on the left side menu.
Scroll down and change the thread display options to linear, newest first.
Then scroll down and hit save.

Holler if you need more help. I see 68 posts on your thread.
