Polls??

I see the poll feature when I post but how do you use it? I did a search but did not find an explanation.

Dan, polls are for collecting opinions when you start a thread. One of the options when you started this thread was if you wanted to start a poll. Polls can be about anything, but should be kept topical to the thread.

I didn't state my question well, I know what they are but don't know how to do one! I didn't see any place to establish the questions.

OK - to do a poll:
Start a new thread and when the editor box pops up scroll down a little and click on "go advanced".
Then fill out your thread title and ask your question.
Then scroll down a little and select "post a poll" . Follow the prompts.
If you mess up: a moderator can edit your poll or pull it so you start over.

Thanks Janet. That was what I was needing to do but could find anything doing a search. My skills in searching are probably not as good as they should be.
