Please help me......

I have never seen anyone's users profile say they belong to a group membership........and in editing my own profile, I've never seen any place I've been able to enter that I belong to a group membership. Has anyone else noticed this....or is it just me? If it is easily remedied....please show me how I can enter that I belong to other groups (other than ASforums), such as Rotary International, Oregon Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, Corvallis Arts Guild, Vistas and Vineyards Art Group, Western Oregon Unit-WBCCI. What's the importance of this you ask....well, it might help you connect with another ASforum member to share a lunch....have a professional visit (tax deductible), or just jaw awhile!
Why aren't we using this feature in ASforums?

For now, you can add the info to your signature line, and others can do the same. It's easy, and free.

Jim -It may be that the "user" profile is expected to be a quick introduction and the "public profile" is reserved for those more interested in your accomplishments. For example, in your public profile I learned that you like to paint under "Other interests". There is also the "Occupation" field in Public Profile.

The list of organizations, guilds, associations, memberships, clubs, professional groups, educational titles, hobbies, skills and pursuits for some people might take up too much room on the front page but the nice thing about this group is how accepting everyone is of new ideas.

Check to see if there is a character limit in the signature field for your introduction and let er rip !
