Plea for correct spelling ...

... do the moderators keep tabs on their fiefdoms when it comes to ensuring that key words in thread titles conform to generally accepted arrangements of letters? And I'm not talking about such differences as ensure vs. insure.

Right now, in the "Recent 25 threads," we have the following:

"Reciever weight"
"Looking for a axle"
"Do I need new axels"

If we wait a few minutes the word "breaks" will no doubt appear. It pains me to bookmark threads that I'll otherwise never find through a conventional search. Individual posts, including mine, will always have typos but the titles ... dang ...

A reasonable request. Usually we fix titles but not posts. The problem is noticing them..... So - send one of us a note when you find errors and we'll fix 'em.

Smile Better hire a new spelling correction moderator...

Maybe Canny Banjo Man would be interested? One of the past threads had his spell checking machine on it!

Canny Banjo Man! Has anybody ever made it all the way through one of his posts? I'm prone to headaches anyway, can't risk it ...

... And this particular hissy fit is probably just a lame attempt to be relevant since I can't keep up with the gearhead talk or loosen stuck hitches without help .... but dangit, I sure can harangue everyone about usage ... kinda like a small, yappy dog. Who lives in the trailor parque but don't do nothin useful.

poor CBM! I, too, find his posts extremely difficult to read. Although, they always reflect good cheer.....I think.

The language barrier is quite something.

as far as the other stuff goes...hey, you go with your strengths.

Monte/Monty/Monti/Monique/Something

Hey Janet, I got dinged on pretty good for Spellin' the full "Monty", the full "Monte" (I got a buddy named Monte, not Monty, that's my story and I'm sticken' to it!). If you want to change my main thread to "Monty", feel free (unless it might screw up my links and pagemarks). Here's the link: http://www.airforums.com/forum...nte-15132.html

I've read where people feel you are yelling at them if you type in all CAPS; but after reading 85MH325's above post, I feel like I have spittle on my face.
