I'm not sure if this is the right place to note a technical difficulty for the photo site, but hopefully I'm not all wet on this...

Lately, about 40% of the photos I attempt to open up at AirstreamPhotos come up with an error. It looks like it's not my computer, since I've had this occur when trying to view the same photos at different computers. Here is a copy of a recent error message:

MySQL error reported!

I was able to view 6-8 pictures then got the error. It is not just an IE thing. It happens in Irider too.

Still having troubles in Mozilla...

The 'slide show' feature doesn't seem to work at all. The first image comes up, but it doesn't change, no matter the how the interval between shots is set. Doesn't matter if I'm 'logged in' or not either.

Also, receive the following on images in my gallery...the thumbnails show up but not the larger image.

While trying to view "Up,up & Away"

I didn't test every picture in my gallery, however some work & some don't...doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason which ones are okay and which ones aren't, like a date or anything. But it does seem consistant, images I can or can't view day to day are the same.

Thanks for looking into this. I'm still getting error messages. FWIW, I'm on AOL. It's odd--It appears to be random which photos get the error messages, but then the error message is very consistent. Anyways, it is a neat site, so thanks for checking my problem.

FWIW - The slideshow function worked OK for me - shows all pics, but if I happen to hit the "stop button" on one of the problem images I get the error screen. Hitting the back button takes you back to the image I initially stopped on, and shows it properly, but the slideshow itself will not continue until you hit "refresh" from there.

I'm on a Mac (Panther) running Safari.

The slide show worked for me too... Shari make sure you don't get a Java Script Error on the bottom fo your browser window...

Also, if you all could check to see if you get that error on the photos anymore... I think I got it fixed.

only "Home on the Range" worked, the other 2 did not

Looks like the picture no longer exist, just get package box in upper left, but rest of screen is ok
once I select the picutre (noted for larger version) all seems ok

It seems that about 50% of the time photos show up as empty black frames for me. This happens at home, at work, and at another off-site PC where I was trying to show off my trailer. When I first uploaded photos to my member gallery I could view them. Eventually they started to appear as an empty frame. I usually see the photos on the portal, and the most popular photos. When I just now opened up the Photos section of this site, the recently loaded and most popular were visible while the random images were empty frames (see attached screen shot)

I searched through the forums for this same issue and the resoluation or at least cause with no results.

More Information:
I am running Windows XP Professional. I have cleared all temporary internet files, rebooted many times and turned off my firewall program. I did finally find a related post, and the solution seemed to be a reboot - didn't work for me.

I am also having problems viewing pictures. Since about a week ago I haven't been able to view pictures in the Portal section. Also, when I try to go to the Photo section, I get "Page cannot be displayed" in IE, and "Can't find Page" in MSN. In fact, I can't view any pictures as of today. Thanks.

I've gotten nothing but little red X's for at least a week. But I logged on as just a guest at my boyfriend's this morning, and the pix showed up just fine. I'm stumped. He's still on dial-up, no less. (Yeah, I know, and he's an IT professional.)

I was having trouble for a while until I remembered that the trouble started just when my computer auto-updated the firewall (ZoneAlarm Pro). Turns out that the automatic settings on the new version are a bit too selective, so I downgraded the setting one click and was then able to see everything.
