I noticed this problem with the forums today:
If I post to a thread it take forever to finish after I submit the post. If I open another window and view the forums, the post is there. I then close the first window and everything is fine.

It does this on over half of my posts, but not all.....

Thanks for your feedback, I am working on this today. I have the server admins making some changes and will report back. It will then be very important that you continue to give feedback so I can get things fixed.

FYI - In September I am planning the upgrade for the site software which will make things faster and more stable.

I keep getting a 500 internal server error. Took many tries to get this to post.

Members can edit a post for a period of 5-10 minutes after they make it. Are you asking about this?

The edit function will not work 2 seconds after I post. Sometimes it defaults to delete and other times there is no response to clicking on the edit button at all.

Interesting... I tried this with a test account and can't find an error. Would you make sure you are logged in and let me know if this continues?

Like Janet, I just fiddled a bit with a test account. These behave like a member account. When I hit the edit button I see this:

Name:	member edit window.JPG
Views:	98
Size:	21.9 KB
ID:	42233
I can edit my previously entered text and click Save. If I delete all text it tells me I must enter at least 3 characters. I see further delete information only after I click on the delete button at lower right.

Evidently you aren't seeing the same? Are you on either the calendar or newsletter team? (shouldn't make a difference but I'll ask...)

I am not on a Calendar or newsletter team.

Up until this most recent upgrade I have not had any difficulty with the edit function. I have used it in the past (often) and am familiar with it.

I guess I'm just the lucky one.
