No space to upload pics?

Hey guys,

did something change with the space we're allowed to upload pics? The last time I uploaded stuff it said I still had 25MB left, but last night when I tried, it said i was over the limit by 20MB. How much space do we have? I have progress pictures on my little 59 to report!

I thought it was just me. I've been trying to upload some small pictures for the past two days. A message tells me I have 6 MB of attachments, and that I'm about 2 MB over. Wondering if there is any way to delete some of my attachments?

I just received word that the sys admins are too busy with server and software upgrades to immediately deal with the problem.

I guess a little patience is called for.

jp - And we do want to see more in your quality rebuild report!

I have attached an image to this post. Let's see if it goes through.

If a member has been a supporting member and that lapses (usually without notice unfortunately), they could find themselves with an immediate lower capacity for posted images and private messages. Resubscribing would fix that.

markdoane PM'ed me about this earlier today and then I saw this thread. Is this a broader problem than just the supporting member issue? I'd guess so since so many are immediately affected. Any more info from members?

I am not aware of any changes - but you can find instructions to load pics here. http://www.airforums.com/forums/f138...eds-31829.html

we'll try to figure out why folks are getting error messages.

I don't know if anything changed and will try to find out, but the current limits are 5MB of upload space. Supporting members have unlimited space.

I received the same message while trying to post to a tread yesterday: it wouldn't let me upload a picture (I know how). Later, I went to my profile to upload three pictures and it had no problem. In fact, it said I had lots of space to spare. I haven't paid as a supporting member yet.

I ran into the same issue a couple days ago when I tried to upload pictures of my new awning. The message I got was I was OVER my limit of xx? MB (I don't remember the number)

My workaround was: 1) Use my photobucket account to link pics from, and 2) upgrade to a supporting member

Since I'm still not clear whether or not I can delete or remove pictures, I'm guessing the only recourse would be to use the PhotoBucket option, or become a supporting member. I should have done my homework and known there was a quota.

You can edit and move/delete pictures in your photo albumn, here's how:

> Go to the picture you want to remove
> Above the picture, to the right there is a button that says "Image Tools" - click it
>click box that says "To delete this image, check the box to the left and then click the 'Delete This Image' button below."
>click on the button

Regular members get 100.00 MB space allowed - for free in the Photo Gallery.

Something is definitely not working, then. I only have 24MB uploaded, and it says I'm over by 19MB. I'll try the account upgrade thing next. It's about time i get the golden rivet anyway!
