We do like the layout. For most of the time the Sport 22FB will be just for my wife and me. We believe the space, the bed, dinette, Refrig, Shower and toilet area are adequate for us.

Playc, make sure you check out the u dinette, sit in it, get in and out, etc. some like it, others don't. But this is usually one of the reasons folks look at other models....

Spend a couple of hours (at least) sitting here and there in any TT before you buy it. It's amazing just how much you start to notice after an hour in this or that seat, or moving past this or that obstacle. Some big things you notice right off (I hit my head here when I came in ...). It's the little (but still important) stuff that takes more time to notice.

Thanks to you all for the advice. We have put a deposit on the Sport 22FB and got the VIN from AS local rep. It shows Proj Start 8/1 and Proj Rel 8/7.

We are planning our trip to Florida late August. We have booked (last available site) at Fort De Soto Campground 727.582.2100 for 3 nights. Hope all goes as plan.

Will continue to learn from you all on this wonderful Forum. And hope to meet you all one day at campground across USA.

Let the first drink be on us.

We have a 2013 22' fb. We love it. Weather permitting we spend a lot of time outside. The bed is a little difficult to make, but I do have a system. Once made it is very comfortable with a foam topper. It has been kind of make shift, but I wii probably order custom topper and sheets from AB Lifestyles next. I cut a coverlet (rounded the back corners) so it can easily be tucked in.

Called and was advised that the projected release date of my 22FB is 8/1. Beyond the date the rep has no clue what are the dates for transportation and ETA ... which is strange and put me wonder how big is the AS operation and not have any plans or schedule?

So my great forum members if you have any insight to what and how long will it take to arrive my Tampa dealership?

As I will drive 1200 miles to pick up and make hotel and campsite reservations.

A side note, what's the best way to have TPMS installed as I deem it can help great deal for safety travel.

Playc, I recall mine took 6 days after completion off the line to get to my dealer in Colorado. That included dealer prep and such.

Your dealer should be able to tell you. My dealer had the week well before it was off the line. And it turned out to be the right week.

Thanks for the message. 6 days was pretty efficient. Mine project release is 8/1. I will be happy if it gets to Tampa by 8/20.

The other thing I did was send an email to the AS factory, I wold them my name, the dealer I bought from and the time frame for the build out given by the dealer. A nice man sent me a note stating the date my unit was planned to be built and completed. it was a few months out.

he stated they don't typically give out updates on production, but if I emailed him the week he told me it was scheduled to be done, he would see if he could learn anymore. I did just that, sent him an email two months later, he checked and said it was on the line and would be completed in a day. Sure enough, dealer called said it had been done, it was being shipped, and I could pick it up in a week.

I was very impressed with the gentleman from AS that responded to my request and kept me filled in. Very professional and helpful. A good guy for sure.

I ordered mine online and installed them myself. Simple...they just screw on the tire stems. Paired them up with the receiver unit first then installed them. Works great and does provide some piece of mind while on the road.

Me as well.

I did have steel valve stems put on, though. I suspect the rubber ones are ok, but I felt better about running the external sensors (I bought the TST 507 system in Nov 2015, very happy with it).

We installed the Dill 1505-453 TPMS system signal senders inside the tires (they are also the valve stem) so we get a better temperature reading of the internal air as well as an accurate pressure reading.

Thanks for the info. I know very little about TPMS. Just curios, is it likely the TPMS can attract attention and may easily be taken away by bad people?

So far, no. We use the TST TPMS product. The stem-mounted sensors we have on the trailer wheels look pretty boring. The receiver unit itself is the size of a small beeper. We put it away when we park the rig. The repeater we use is mounted on the tongue of the trailer inside the propane tank cover. Works great, draws zero attention compared to the trailer itself.
