New software features - ask here

We are still learning our way around - but just a couple of things

There are many new social networking features including visitor messaging via your user cp. These visitor messages are publicly viewable - so don't dis my trailer (or anything/one else).

Spell checker - yes! We have one. If you have a red squiggle under your words in the reply editor - right click to fix.

You can view your friends list in you user cp

The technical difference is that buddies are people you add to your own list (like the ignore member feature). They don't have to accept your invitation to have them on your list. Buddies or Friends are people that you request to connect with but before they show up on your friends list they have to accept your invitation to connect. This is a social networking feature that was added and will allow us to roll out some cool new features in the future.

Does everyone have reputation beyond repute? Is this something I can put on my resume'?

I was wondering what determines the level of reputation shown in the green bar at left. Is this based on Karma or ?? Apparently mine is beyond repute. You don't know me very well do you!

Why have private messaging if everyone can read your messages? I thought sometime back when I was in trouble that a moderator told me that even he could not read my PM's. If I really wanted others to read my PM's , why heck I'ld just start a new thread.
P.S. I keep my thoughts about others trailers to myself or in my PM's
I looked on my cp for this new feature, have you removed it already?

Visitor messaging is different from PMs. We can't see PMs - never have, never will. That's why they call them Private!

While a great many seem to have a reputation beyond repute, I have a brilliant future.

Doorgunner, I left you a message. Anyone else who wants to check that out can click his name and go to his profile, and you can see the message as well.

Not sure what to make of it, but after that quote my brilliant future disappeared and I have a reputation beyond repute, too.
