I loved that feature and I know I wasn't the only one.

Thanks
Thanks for bringing the photos back!

Clicking on my page numbers is working properly now.

The forums page remains too big for my screen.

You are still set up for instant notification. please make sure that mail from air isn't going to your spam box (or your providers spam box...)

Thanks for the reply Janet.

Nothing from air getting to the spam file, and no settings have been changed. This just started yesterday, and I don't have a clue why.

24hrs later and all's back to normal..

Hate it when that happens, have no idea what happened or how to keep it from happening again.

It was a problem on our end. Thanks for reporting it. Andy was able to get it fixed.

Where is this reputation bar people are talking about? I don't see one so I figure mine is in the gutter. Cool.

I'm fairly new to the forum. I am having trouble with some of the acronyms used on the forum, is there a glossary for acronyms.

Thanks

Jim

Did we do another minor upgrade today? The "post reply" box is now a gray color and the font in said box is different than what appears on the screen inside the thread? Could be I need a new eyeglass Rx, tho.

No upgrade, but some tweaking... still in progress. You are very observant.

This is puzzling, and I noticed it happening a few days ago. From the portal page, sometimes when I click to open a thread, it no longer takes me to the start of the thread. Sometimes I end up at post #52 for example. Or post #4. Sometimes I do end up at post #1, but not always. I don't remember changing any of my settings, nor can I find a setting that might effect this. And I can't figure out why some threads work ok and some don't. By "work ok" I mean "work the way it used to - always bring me to post #1."

Any thoughts ol' moderators of the website?

Chris

The thread should open to the last place you read - so you can start were you left off

oh! So, what you're saying is I need to remember that I read part of a thread before. Man, you're asking a lot on some days!

Anyway, thanks for the explanation. I was going to blame it on sun spots...

I noticed that when I would click on a thread I'd never read that I would go to the last post in the thread and have to manually select the first page to start the thread at the beginning. I never went to random locations in the thread. This was on threads I'd never read any part of before.

Hmm... After hearing that you two are experiencing the same basic issue, maybe I'm not so nuts after all. After Janet's explanation, I thought that maybe, since Kay and I share the same login, that I was opening threads that she has read. But now, I'm not so sure. I noticed this behavior early last week if that helps isolate it to a upgrade or something else going on.

Are the threads opening to the last unread post in general, instead of tracking the last unread post for each user? For example, when I opened this thread, it went directly to post 138. I had not read post 137 yet, and Kay's out of town, so she's not loggin in either.

There recently (within the last week or two) has been a change in how this works. Before, if I clicked on the title of the thread, I would go to the beginning of the thread. if I click on the little arrow box to the left of the thread title, I would go to the first unread. Now I go to the first unread no matter where I click.

Regards,
Ken
