New posts in chronological order??

I enjoy "catching up" by reading the opening page of the forum where the past 12 hours or so of posts are available. Is there a way you can extend this list to include older posts in chronological order? This way, even if you only get into the forum every couple days, you wouldn't miss anything.

Lightbulb Here ya go...

If you click the "New Posts" heading in the first Blue Bar at the top of the page (towards the right, above the ad bar), all the threads that have had posts since your last visit will appear - whether it's been a couple hours, days, or weeks.

Another handy search is under he "Quick Links" tab in the top solid blue horizontal line.

Open that link and near the bottom you will see a selection called "Subscribed links".

Clicking on that will show you threads that you have either started or commented in. Threads with new posts (that you have not yet seen) are in bold.

One last quick thing; under the "Thread Tools" selection in another blue bar, you can mark a thread as subscribed, and so watch it's progress without actually posting to it.

An interesting TAB. But it opens 8 pages of posts dating back 15 days where as the Portal Tab open up the last 15 posts.

After you've scanned through the posts and read the ones you want to read, click on the "Quick Links" drop down menu and select "Mark Forums Read". This will clear all the threads that you don't want to read so they won't show up next time. It makes it as though you have read them...so unless there is another post to it since your last visit, it won't show up again.
