I'll let others suggest a group, but what about coming to Cleveland SC, Palmetto Cove for the nearly world famous Alumalina. Link http://www.airforums.com/forums/f288...on-143824.html about 120 plus rigs, more opinions than you can stand. Mar 31- Apr 3.

We'd love to come and would actually be in Columbia, SC that weekend for Easter with our daughter. But sadly, our "Stella" will still be in the shop getting tires, shocks & new running lights. Do they let you in without an airstream lol?

I suggest you look into the WBCCI Southeast camping unit. Active group of camping oriented folks. Not a lot of rigamarole. Also we have twice a year rallys with no real groups membership needed, or even a trailer. These are in Hiawassee GA on Lake Chatuge. Our Spring one is in late April, Fall is the week before Halloween.
Check out Springstream, and Falluminum here in the forums.
Hope to see you sometime...

CFA,
Contact Sandlapper AKA John Leake. John is the chief cat herder for alumalina. Pretty sure no issue w/o an airstream as its a forum rally.

CFA - we'd love to have you! We are members of the East TN Unit of WBCCI. You can go to the WBCCI website and link onto our unit. Our Unit President is Harry Herrmann. We are actually having a lunch meeting this Saturday at the O'Charley's restaurant at 364 Fountain View Circle in Alcoa, TN at noon. If you can just show up and introduce yourself. Most of our meetings take place in the vicinity of Knoxville but we meet anywhere from the Airstream TCPC campground in Crossville to near your area. Our members are from all over East TN.

Airstream
[QUOTE=CFA happy;1762347]Hi everyone - we just purchased our first Airstream - 1976 27' Overlander and are hoping to get her on the road soon. Are there any groups for Airstream owners in East TN...we live in Johnson City and are close to Asheville, NC. Greenville SC is my home and my husband is from GA so the Southeast is all part of our stomping grounds. We'd love to get linked into an Airstream community. Thanks everyone for your help!: [/QUO
I live in Kingsport own a 65 overlander. But not a member of anything yet

Welcome to Air Forums. Well, you are a member of this group. Keep an eye out for some announcements for some unaffiliated meet ups and AS gatherings. You can decide later if you want to join any groups.
