to add to your programmers to do list ;
- marking an item as 'sold' appears to do nothing so far.
- i have a trailer for sale in NC but when i sort by state (NC) nothing is listed. also when i sort by year it is not listed.
- sorting by price in the drop down above the list of ads returns a 404
a few other comments -
- i was going to say it looks like you're using classipress and you are. fun, i find it to be an excellent platform, with one exception. if you don't add a Captcha to the contact form to contact a user directly, i get a lot of spam. i think making the users login to send mail helps with this of course, which you have obviously done.
- will there be an opportunity to make ads 'featured'?

I've been able to login.
However, "Parts and Appliances" yields the Woopsie page not found.

FlyRc Generating revenue via advertising is the whole idea. That's why it's free for us to do pretty much anything. I guess if folks don't like the new format they can always go use that other free Airstream only forum....

New Classifieds is nice look
The new classified's has a nice new look. It seems updated and fresh in comparison to the older style. I would like to have the option of returning to the forums page if that is a possibility. Seems like some fine tuning and us getting used to the new format will take some time. Keep up the good work.

Interesting, when trying to go to "Parts and Appliances" from the "Browse Airstream" menu at the top, I get the page not found notice.
If I go to the bottom of the page and click on "Categories" (below the map background), I can get to the parts section.
The problem link is at the top of the page in the blue drop-down menu.
I like the design, myself. The map background got me pretty quickly, though, due to the image tiling. Nicely done BTW, lining up 66 across the page. I looked at it and the first thing that hit me was Sayre was east of El Reno and Weatherford. Then I saw Weatherford on the other side of the map. The light came on then.

Thanks for all the feedback, we will be working on the issues this week. Any large conversion like this is going to have a lot of little kinks to iron out so we are working on resolving the issues now.
This new systemw will be much better in the long run. We have a lot of items to fix so thanks in advance for your patience. It might take a week or longer to knock out the biggest issues but once we are settled, it will be a great system.

Andy, One small issue. When I am in the Classifieds, I don't see a way to return to the forums.
Thanks

Wondering when the browse "Page not Found"will be fixed, and are there plans to put back the "Search"function?
Thanks

The search function will be returned - but is still being worked on. If you are using the drop down menu at the top of the forum, just click on the main link to classifieds and not the sub categories for year (as they aren;t working yet)

New Ad
Not a fan of change to this site...new listings too busy, and view fewer per page, and seems like more adds. I did like old site better.

Let me put a mark in the "Plus" column. I work in software development so I understand that it takes a while to roll out a huge update to an existing site, I'll wait to see how the details get fixed. I'd like to see a control for the number of classifieds per page, but overall I think this update is huge.
The old classifieds site looked like a webpage from the 90s.
The new site is more visually appealing, the new search and sort functionality will be a tremendous improvement once everything's working fully, and the new photo display tool is such a phenomenal improvement that I'd be happy with the update if that were the only benefit.
Hopefully the new form for creating classified ads will have good rules to require those placing ads to fill in the metadata necessary to make the searches and sorts work right. Data quality and consistency was one of the shortcomings of the previous format.

All the ads seem empty on my iPhone? That's just an FYi - I'm not in the market for anything and its not a problem to me :-)

...right now it seems the ads are inudating the "new posts" page. I suppose this is just because of the switch over and all the listings are "new" right now. I sure hope this won't be the norm once it is settled in - I for one don't want to be tempted by all the ads while browsing the Forums.

Shari - they are posting like that because we're in the middle of editing each ad ... (Old fields of data, didn't play well with new fields). As they are edited the new thread is posted. Once this is sorted out, you will see a new thread only when a new ad is loaded, just a few each day.

Janet and team,
You're doing a fine job working out the bugs. My heart goes out to you. You might add a mandatory when posting, if you can. That is, every listing must have a state or province associated with it. Those of us who are browsing for our next (or first) AS make some decisions based to location. If a person was forbidden to complete a posting without a state or province selected from the drop-down, you'd always get that vital data on the posts.

Keep up the good work
You guys are doing a nice job, in post # 25 I said it would be nice to have a "back to the forums option" and in post # 30 in was already done.

I've noticed if you are viewing on a tablet or phone, there is no way to change to the desktop version. It's a pretty stripped version, and I can't seem to get photos to come up.
I'm sure y'all are working on it, and maybe one of the fixes you are working on will take care of it. I'll keep an eye on it for changes...
