New AirstreamCentral.com Launched

For those of you who know the history of Airstream websites you will recognize the domain AirstreamCentral.com. It was actually a decent resource of information with a forum and other info many years ago. Unfortunately it was left unattended and passed through various owners. The domain name has a long history and for that reason it ranks highly in the search engines.

I decided to move our sister site (AirstreamArticles.com) over to AirstreamCentral.com to bring more exposure to the excellent articles that have been contributed by our members. The old domain name is now redirecting to the new domain.

We are looking for new articles on a range of topics. Your contributions can be shared with hundreds of thousands of people through this free resource. If you want to help out the community, please consider writing an article or becoming a regular contributor to AirstreamCentral.com.

We would like to add more articles on topics that will help out new Airstream owners (beginners guides), articles about trips, adventures or camping, restoration projects and how to guides, historical/research articles about Airstreams and also articles about rallies which might include ideas for events to host at a rally or even a recap of a fun rally you recently attended.

If you are interested in contributing please PM me or one of the other Mods here on AIR and we can get your more information.

Thanks in advance for being part of this special resource for Airstream Owners. Together we can accomplish a lot more then any one of us as individuals!

Here is another link to the site: www.airstreamcentral.com

Regards,

Andy R

That site will be governed by the same Terms of Service as AIRForums.com (link). Basically the person submitting the articles owns the copyright but by submitting them they grant us a license to display them.

OK you guys, now just cut that out! (with apologies to Jack Benny).

There are TWO Andy R members. Are you both in fact one person?

No, we are two different people.

Andy Robinowitz owns this Forums, Airstream Central, that I sold to him, and he also owns several others very nice Forums.

He put his brains to work, managed to navigate many stumbling blocks, dealt with a few hardships, "BUT" belived in his goals.

As a result, he has become a very successful entrepreneur.

He saw a need, and with his talents, worked very very hard, and found a way to succeed, where others have failed.

Andy Robinowitz, knows how to "make things happen."

Andy Rogozinski, owns Inland RV Center Inc, and has been with the Airstream program for over 42 years, from being with dealers, to working for Caravanner Insurance Company, the former insurance division of Airstream, writing the Airstream crash book that Airstream said "could not be done" some 38 years ago, teaching dealers and their service and parts departments accross our country, coming up with several changes to the Airstream product that they adopted, and like Andy Robinowitz, I too, like to do the impossible, the "you can't" do that, and staying busy making things work when others have said, it can't work, an Airstream innovator, and owning a shop that can and does everything to the Airstream products, up to and including "remanufacturing," along with having many exclusive and/or specail parts for the vintage Airstreams.

Those things were recogonized in 1999 by Wall Street Journal, People Magazine, Associated Press, RV Business, Trailer Life, CNBC News, Cinematic reports in Japan, E-entertainment, and by many others as well.

We have also received local awards for manufacturing and business excellence.

Both of these Andy's are similair, but very different, but we both, without a doubt, love to accept challenges and make things happen, in spite of others negativity.

Andy Robinowitz, is a young guy, who won't quit.

Andy Rogozinski, is well, a senior citizen, who won't quit either.

Andy Rogozinski

Thanks for the kind words Andy and for selling me Airstream Central. It's been an interesting ride over the last 7 years and a lot of fun to meet so many people. I hope that the future we can find ways to keep on sharing more info!

Your more than welcome.

Hard working determined people, usually succeed, as you have.

The road to success has many bumps and pot holes, but the person with the I will succeed attitude, rarely looses.

Congratulations.

Your friend.

Andy

They both left southern California last week, in their own 72 foot six axle Airstreams.
