I think I finally figured out that "timeline" is the same as "current" on the old app.
The biggest thing I hate is the red...

Sorry to see this change in the iPad app. The former app was much smoother to use.

On my iPad I just use the regular site, I don't see any need for special formatting. Even on my phone, the regular version works better than any mobile implementation, at least so far.
I am not sure if bother with a mobile only version to be honest.

I don't like the red.
The avatars don't show up for the most part. Every once in a while an avatar will show up.
I liked the "current" and "participated" buttons at the bottom better.
When typing a long post, it doesn't automatically scroll- you have to scroll down manually to see what you have typed.
I liked the trailer photo when opening the app, but I also like the blue Airforums logo.
I haven't looked at the iPad app- does is still show a 30' trailer in landscape and a short trailer in portrait? I always thought that was neat. I will check it out when I get home this evening.

Agreed. Keep trying people! Where does RED relate to airstreams?

Actually the app is supposed to be blue and this will be corrected as will other issues. No rollout is without hitches and we expect this. We are actively addressing glitches as discoveries are made, so keep the comments coming.
And BTW red is the WBCCI numbering color scheme, so that color isn't a stretch, but I don't like it either. Too harsh.

Right! Red numbers, black tires, brown wood, all relative to an airstream, but the corporate color is blue, pretty easy direction imo

I still like current and participated at the bottom of the page more than timeline...

Now I have the android version of the new app. So far it appears to be somewhat nicer than the iPad app. Gray frame instead of red, and it seems to be better at displaying the avatar images.
Posted from my Moto X using AIRForums mobile.

How do I change my profile? My trailer description went away and was replaced by "currently looking". And my tow vehicle description is gone as well.

I checked the Android version from the PlayStore but I always inspect the app permissions. Why does it want permission to:
1 - install a shortcut and also run at start-up?
2 - find other accounts on my phone?
3 - use accounts on my phone?
4 - access protected storage and USB connected devices?
5 - prevent my phone from sleeping?

I downloaded the Android app last night - a couple minor issues:
1. I was surprised there wasn't a tablet version, since Tapatalk is available in a tablet version.
2. I missed the Airstream pictures when the app starts. Related to both issues, the "AIR Forums" logo that displayed when I started the app didn't quite look right on the tablet - it looked stretched and weird.
It's an Asus TF300. In general it seemed fine to me. I think switching to the Tapatalk code base is a good idea - less likely to have weird random bugs that pop up.

I have had it for a few days and it now says Airstream Forum as opposed to AirForum. My only challenge so far is to find new posts. I'm sure they're there I'm just not finding them yet. I did stumble into subscribed lists and that works well. Thanks for keeping the IT end current. We'll figure things out just not there yet on everything.

I have been using the Android mobile app for some time. I like it very much to stay caught-up with the goings on my phone. The revamped app is a little different, but it still works well.

I had it but now it's gone
I down loaded the app and thought it worked. But today I tried to use it and it only displayed the UK site and the B190? site when searching for airstream. Maybe it was taken down to fix.

I would like to update/edit my profile to include my TAC number.
I can't figure it out.

Sounds like you downloaded Tapatalk instead of the AIR Forums app...
