Dear Moderator of the Photo sister site?????
We found the photo site to be invaluable in our search and understanding of what to look for in determining size and inside floor plans!!!!
However, it took us hours to go through it (not relating to computer speed).
My problem was that each Member either has a fancy handle, or the title of the slide/photo is generic - There are some that title their photos by the Year and Model of their AS which is PERFECT!
At the bottom of each photo seems to be certain standard info - is it possible to have a line there that indicates Year/Model so that it shows with all photos posted by that member.
Not sure how it would work with a member who has multiple AS's but for the majority it would be fine.
Certainly don't expect this today
As I know you are all volunteers and I might ad are doing a fabulous job of these forums - BRAVO!!!!
I just joined the other day and can see that I am going to get nothing done around the house until we acquire our New V - AS - then absolutely nothing will get done.
Also read a thread RE: Change years and that they are not listed - I can somewhat relate as we are looking at a 69 GlobeTrotter and could very well be the owners very shortly. This model is somewhat in the middle of both era's 60's and 70's and I'm sure the parts and systems are going to be a big miss match as well as some totally unique to that year and possibly to that model alone- makes it all the more fun I think.
Anyway if it might be easier and a little less time lump all the change years together - as the numbers will be somewhat smaller than the others I presume.
Just my two cents - and as I said my Husband and I think these boards are great and they are really helping us through our present long distance acquisition right now!!
