massive water leak

when I hooked up to city water water came pouring out of the belly pan. Is there a valve needs closed, switch thrown or something else that needs done. Trailer has sat unused for 25 tears but was drained and stored properly. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Maybe all of the above, plus some possible cracks/breaks where a pipe froze. I would start opening every interior and exterior door and access panel you can find, in order to see the leak in person. You could turn the hose bib on just a little, to see if you can hear the leak or leaks inside a wall or floor.

Do you have the owner's manual? That will help locate things like the water heater (incl. drain plug), pump, pump filter, low point drains, and so forth. If you need a link for an online PDF of your manual please advise and I will find it.

Good luck!

Peter

Hi

Welcome !!!

One sneaky trick: Hook up an air line to the water input and see if you can *hear* a leak. Yes, you need to be a bit creative about minimizing compressor noise. A long air hose plus a closed garage door usually do the trick ... Do be careful about pressure. Anything over about 60 lb is probably not a good idea when doing this.
