The site is back up. We're working to fix some of the problems that existed on the old server. There might be a few hiccups, but hopefully nothing that will take the site down for very long.

good work

Andy,
As I have opined previously, the forums you run are an example of how to do things correctly. We, at the high school district, use essentially the same operational methods... IIS in front, PHP in the middle and SQL in the back. Microsoft gives big educational discounts se we use thir stuff. VMware has been magical. Pause a server - move it to another VMware host and unpause it and it resumes.
oops... sorry - you have stuff to do.

anyway, thanks for all you do... nice stuff

3/12/07 Maintenance: Sooo...

What did you do with the extra 7 hours and 58 minutes you had today?

How many times did you "just check to see if it was back up"...it's okay, admit it, everybody missed us all!

Time for a group-hug!

Shari

I got my central line removed, got a picc line installed, had an extra physical therapy session, watched an extra episode of RV TV, packed up my goodies at the hospital, and came home.

Not much

Went to www.tour.airstreamlife.com and found out Rich Luhr's blog was going dark for a few days, checked out www.thevap.com, but I heard all of them already, so I decided to cause some trouble at http://savewally.org. No one has "The New Airstream Game."

404 error on trying to view the Moraine View rally thread... 404 error on trying to view the Air # registry. Might be a little drafty sleeping tonight, folks! But I've gotten my Airstream fix now. Ah-h-h-h...

I logged off 13 hours ago and drove to Mad-town (hi John HD) -- dropping something important off at my daughters -- it'll be a quick turnaround and back home early tomorrow morning. So, no, not a single login attempt -- but Terry crossed my mind numerous times on the 6 hour drive. We're with ya buddy!

I can't believe how much better the photo galleries look.

Sharper focus, better balance, and much nicer color saturation!

How bad have YOU "Got it"???

Hello all -

Missed the heads up as I was stuck in DFW with no access.... airplane equipment failure (2+hrs).... got home and found 404's all over.... OH NO!!!! MR. BILL!!!!! (anybody remember that?) and went through severe DT's with no ASF's.... Thought the kids had killed the MAC - that! CAN'T happen.... but still, I did check.... All systems normal, so what the *&$%????

Glad to see that things are back to abi-normal.... Gald that there are 'forward thinking' people on the web end of the situation!!!

I'm still not sure what exactly it is that I did with all that time I had added back to my day today... but I got THROUGH it....!!!!!!! Actually found LOTS of other AS stuff out there on the web - they probably go the "activity spike" of their web lives today during the 'down' time..?

Ya Baby!!!! ASF's is back!

Back to that ASF's addiction. Ahhhh.....hhhhhh.......hhhhhh.......hhh...next thread.... hhh..... so nic.e....ee....!!!!

Seriously, THANKS Andy etal....!!!!

Gotta go... more threads to read....

Axel

What did I do with 7 hrs?

Kept hearing This is the End playing in my head.

Got my mind occupied for a while by writing Blanche 4 poems, 2 sonnets and a Spud Gun materials list for H. Depot. (yeah, right)

Got a grip and went to Target and bought two new chairs for April's rally.

Got another forum member's attention by telling them the moon was not in the right phase to be ordering new axles.

Got lucky and found a new Forbo Marmoleum dealer to help with ordering new flooring material.

What was in your 7 hours?

em.
