I have noticed that a thread titled "For Trailer Owners Only" has manaaged to hover near the top of the 'last 30' list for a while.
I keep going toit to see what has been added, and find it has not been expanded since 12-29-02.
Now it is not a problem with me, but it sure has my curiosity up as to how that happens. Occasionally hot threads sink quiet quickly, of course depending on new action. This one seems to have dodged the traffic?? HOW?
Speaking of the "last 30 list" here is an attempt at a poll.
Personally, I don't use it. I would rather use the "new posts since last log-in feature" that way only the threads with new posts come up whether it's 10 or 50+. Also, if I'm not able to log-in for a couple of days I don't miss anything...
When you log in to airstreamforums.com there is a button at the top right hand side that says "forum", click on that. It'll take you to a page that shows all the forum threads. At the top right hand side again, below the "forum" button, it says "view posts: new", click on that. It'll sort through all the threads and only show the ones that have had additional posts added (or poll votes) since you were last logged on.
I usually start at the bottom and work my way up through them, hit the "refresh" button when I get to the top to see if there are more added, then "mark all read" at the bottom when I'm through.
Hopefully that helps...
Shari
BTW I have bookmarked the "forums" page so I never look at the overview page...just go straight to the forums
After reviewing the "new" and clicking on "mark all read", if you go back into the "new" and it comes back with "sorry no match", does this mean no new post/threads since last visit?
You don't have to hit the "refresh" button after you reach the top of the list. Every time you go back to the search page, it does a brand new search for you automatically. If someone (or you) has posted in the mean time, that thread will now be at the top of the list.
If you start at the bottom and work up, when you reach the top, you have seen them all.

I don't do a new search after reading each post, I use the "back" button to get to my current session's search results. This way it doesn't refresh until I tell it to.
It's interesting to me to find out how different folks "get to" the same information...cool!
