I have complained about the Karma-to-Thanks button as well.
I still don't like it, but I think it's time to quit complaining about it. We all need to move on.
There are more important topics and things to worry about.
Like whether or not my running gear is properly ballanced...well, my trailer's anyway...

Whatever . . .

If the label on the "Thanks" button is changed to "Whatever", then it can and will mean whatever anyone who sends a private affirmative note wants it to mean. For those who are fine with "Thanks" it will mean "Thanks". For those who miss "karma" it will mean "karma". For those loutish insensitive souls who regard it as a "High-Five from Jesus" it will mean that.

To clarify the sender's intent to the recipient, each private salutation can begin with the appropriate meaning "Thanks to you . . ." or "Karma to you ..." or "High-J-Fives to you . . ." [or for brevity use just the first letter . . T or K or H ...], but each salutation will be private so as not to offend others who may see red or blue every time they look at the ever-changing button/symbol/thingy that seems to now spread dissatisfaction throughout the Forumverse. So folks, I say "Whatever!"

Oh please. So now it's "time to move on." It was time to move on back on page 1 of this thread, IMHO. But that's just me.

Hmmmm... WHAT TO DO?

Actually I did manage to clean the lid of my bumper box today. And I even tackled a bad case of corrosion on the bumper itself. Unfortunately the bumper box per se is presently disassembled. I'm afraid to say it's a sad case of a bumper box missing its frame! Notice the shiny end after polishing with 1000 grade sandpaper.
