Instant thread notification

For the past few months this hasn't been working at all, forgot to post this bug.

I have the same forum software and know how it suppose to work, so I believe there's a tech support issue.

Email notification is on the Tech Support to do list. Thanks for reporting it.

Rich, this shouldn't just be on the list of things to do, it should be at the top of the list, IMO.

You're losing lots of traffic, I'm a web designer myself I know this is costing money.

Get Vbulletin to fix it ASAP.

Bottom line here is that we are running an old version of this software. It is highly customized and some stuff is failing. We will upgrade soon.

After months of nada I got one notification a few days ago. Now back to zip.

I sure hope there is a global "do not notify" checkbox. Isn't the automatic thread subscription for "notify immediately by email?" I haven't paid attention, since it isn't working, but if I suddenly get 200+ threads pummeling me with email.... oh, the humanity!

There is and you can find it in your user cp.
There several settings you need to check though, the first is your subscription setting. If you do not subscribe to threads, you get no notice.

Then you can check the kind of notice you get of those subscriptions. Instant, daily, weekly or not at all.

But we have some members who have issues with this, regardless of their settings.

You can view the list of threads you are subscribed to in your user cp as well.
