To upload photos, go to the AirstreamPhotos.com site. Click on "login" in the upper right corner. Once logged in, the screen that comes up has "Download Photos" in the upper right portion of the screen. Click on that, and proceed.
"Attaching MULTIPLE Photos to a post"...in 5 slightly more complicated steps
Okay...so here's another "Photos 101" post...this one is intended for people who are already comfortable with posting single photos in a thread and posting photos in your gallery.
First, post your photos to your AirstreamPhotos.com Gallery per "Attaching Photo Gallery Photos...in 10 easy steps" above. (Posted 5/5/2003)
OR
Upload your photos to another domain server if you have access to one.
2. Click the "Post Reply Button" at the bottom of the appropriate thread.
3. A window pops up to reply to the thread. You'll see the box that you type in called "Your Reply".
4. Instead of using the "Browse" button at the bottom of the window to insert a single photo per "Attaching Photos to a post or thread"...in 4 easy steps" above, insert your photos using the "IMG" button at the top. This will direct the post to the server and upload the photos from there. As JodynJeep posted in another thread:
Quote:
To add multiple pics just add multiple [ img ] with http://url (if in the Airstream photo album - drill down to the image and right click on pic and bring up properties - it will give you the url and you can clip and paste it... I typically open a notepad file and get all the pics urls - add descriptions and paste back into post) end with the [ /img ] without the spaces....
5. After that, just click the "Submit Reply" button as with a normal post.
I want to upload photos of another four or five trailers/MH I've had, but I want to put them in each in their own album.
When I originally uploaded my photos, there was an option for creating and managing user albums, and I made one. I can't seem to find it now. Is it gone, or am I just looking in the wrong places?

You log in and see the "my gallery" option? That's where you stoe your photos, but I don't know of an option to create specific named albums...are you thinking of Yahoo photo or Webshots?

Your mind is not playing tricks on you. There used to be a button to create your own galleries. It may have gotten lost in the restore of the photo site. I think Andy had to roll back to an earlier version of the software and the feature was not part of that earlier release.
I will check into it.

ALANSD... although prone to bouts of hallucinations, particularly after a difficult day at work... I knew that there was a way to do it, as I had created an album when I uploaded my first photos. I know that several other members also have albums in their account!
Thanks for looking into it for me, Brett!

Just checking to see if there is a follow up to this question about creating galleries on airstreamphotos.com. I have two albums from before and want to create more in order to organize an upload of historic images. Any update?
Doug
I want to post some pictures of an Airstream that I have posted for sale. I want to put the pics up for a period of time then remove them. I also need to go back and edit some of the information. What is the best way to do this?
thanks
Rick

Well, I guess I stumbled on this thread long after it began. But, it's fresh for me...because I think I really need the "101" course. But, I probably need the "Bonehead" course (crash course for Dummies).
Why do instructions have to come in pages of information? Couldn't it just be 1-2-3 instructions? Like adding a photo to an email.
In all fairness to me (so that I can rest-assured that I am NOT really a "Bonehead") ..is that I've uploaded photos before on here---and I never had these difficulties. I just came on here to put my most recent photos that so many asked me to keep them posted about...and I don't have a clue how to do it. I have copied all your kind albeit lengthy instructions...to my handy "WordPad"...and will pull it up along side a window with The Forum...and follow these instructions, and get back to you all.
Encouragement and simplicity in verbage will be greatly appreciated.
Hope you're all enjoying the heat-wave.
I'm ready for a 'cool-down'. (sweat/sweat/sweat).
