I hate to appear stupid but every time I want to search the site for a particular subject I always get many, many result pages. I know there can't be over 4,700 occurrences of "Good Sam" on this site.
Can someone tell me the trick to using the SEARCH option to get results on a particular subject.
Hi Pete. Our search works best on single search words only. Advanced search can be quite powerful because it will return results as either threads or posts and you can designate a member if you remember who's posted well on the subject.
Or click our search on the blue tool bar above. But enter your search terms in our Google search box under our search command. That will search only this site and return a lot of results -- so there's still something to sift through. But you can use more search words as well as exact phrasing designators like double quotes. eg, using: "Good Sam" emergency
