How to disable contentlinks

If you are seeing links embedded (contentlinks) in the text of posts and would like to disable them, there are a couple of ways.

Posting regularly will prevent them from appearing or you can disable them this way:
  • Mouse over one of the links until you see a box that says "contentlinks" and then click on the tiny ? (question mark) over in the right hand corner of the box. You will be taken to a page explaining about Contentlinks.
  • Scroll all the way to the bottom of page and read the last sentence - it contains a link to disable them.
  • Click it. The links should be disabled until the next time you clear your computers cookies.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, they are gone. Why in the world is this crap here in the 1st place? I hope it produces more income for our host then it loses. I was about 5 min from quiting this forum, until I found this post. I must remember to do this next time I delete cookies.

Thanks again Janet

Well.....HOT DOG!
My post about them being here seems to be the very thing that disabled them automatically!

And, I am pleased to have been of service to so many others.
