After picking up my new to me AS I was wondering about the ghost numbers on the front of it. If I was to joint the WBCCI could I use these old numbers if they are in fact still with the trailer. The PO told me that he had acquired it because the original owner had passed away. Is there a place to check to see who has my numbers if anyone? A WBCCI member list would be nice.

Call the WBCCI headquarters at 937-596-5211 and ask if those numbers are available.

What are the ghost numbers on your rig?

If you post the numbers here, any WBCCI member can look it up in the Membership Directory. I think a number has to be inactive for 2 years before anone else can be assigned that number.

You can always send an email to:
Jodi Morris, Membership Director
jmorris@wbcci.org

If the number is available, she can put a hold on it for you.

That number is not in the current WBCCI directory so chances are it is available.

In doing a quick check it does not look like that number has been in use since 1988-1989 to a couple in TN.The past two years WBCCI has been reissuing some numbers in the 8000 range so as previously posted the only way to know for sure is to contact Jodi in H.O.
