The common problem here is that you need to click the "Go Advanced" button if you start your reply in the "Quick Reply" box at the bottom of a thread. If you've started your post from the "Post Reply" button it will already put you in the "Advanced" editor from which you have the easy attachment options.

The app is only helpful if you're using a mobile device like a tablet or smartphone. It's on the Apple App Store and on Google Play for the respective operating systems.

Dave, if youve got a smart phone or ipad you can download the app. Just do a search or if youre an Apple user it will be in the App Store. Its free......I think, its been a while since I downloaded. The format is quite a bit different than .com but its great for posting pics right off your phone storage. Im so computer illiterate, but I use the app when I want to post pics cause its like 2 steps. Super easy for those of us who dont know much about tech.

I find it easiest to link to photos already on the net. I use Flickr, and it's free. Copy the image address (not the URL) in Flickr. It's usually found by selecting the image size you want, then right clicking to bring up a menu with the address. In Air Forums, click on the picture icon, then past the image address into the dialog box that pops up.
Send me a pm if that's not clear.

Most likely answer is you use an iPhone or iPad to take the photos. Apple stores the file in the "standard" orientation for the device and adds a photo tag telling Apple products (and certain other application) to rotate the image when displaying it. Web servers display the photo as it's stored.

No I'm using the app on an android. If I post from my pc it's fine. I should have been more clear in my question. My husband using the same model phone works fine.

This may seem to be a non sequitur, but are you left-handed? Perhaps the app on Android is doing something odd. I'll try to break it with mine. What device are you using?

Perhaps so... it's coming through right-side-up on this end.
