Tried it a few times just now and it went to some standard advertisers. Recycled the page immediately and it could be made to show the chat links on occasion.

AIR Forums doesn't have any control over the ads Google shows. It is possible to prevent URLs but that would become a full time job. It's just bad ad targeting by Google. Yes, they are in poor taste, a distraction and of unknown pedigree. The site owner and moderators are sorry that this has happened -- and we can only suggest not to click.
I welcome communication on this matter but there's just not a lot that can be done about it except offer a receptive ear. Thank you for your understanding.
