Yes, good post. I detected that mine was leaking shortly after purchase so i tossed it. A year later I received the notice from Lite Cylinder. They have since filed bankruptcy.

I wish I'd seen one of these in person. Despite the recall, if I had one, I'd be tempted to keep it, empty and disabled somehow, just for the oddity of it.

I saw a couple at West Marine in Wilmington, NC a few months ago... There are probably some still floating around out there.

There are a few other companies that make these tanks as well and those have not been recalled. Sad though for those who have them, it looks like there's no refund at this point.
