Forum Glitches ?

First in checking profiles I notice an inordinate number of folks born December 31 1969.

Obviously this is not the case, so is this some sort of default date?
Why would there be a need for a default date?



More importantly I seem to have to log in 5 or 6 times each time I use the forums. What is the time-out set at for members? I have lost posts that instead of submit , indicate that I am not registered or signed in. If this happens the message is lost when you try to go back to it with back button.

was mentioned in this previous thread. The anomaly first appeared when the new server went into service. Andy is aware of the glitch....

Simple fix is: click into your profile and, edit out the year of your birth (leave it blank). Then save it. When you next view your profile, it'll show just the correct month and date of your birth..

My machine was down for a few long long months over the Fall so I thought that was just me. I was very surprised when I found out that I was a New Years Eve Baby. What did I do? Well, of course I had to have a few cold ones to make up for all those B-days that I did'nt know I was missing.

I changed the setting in your preferences called "Remember Username and password" to yes. See how that works. Is is set to yes by default, so somehow it was changed...

I love having the glitch in the birthdate line - much cheaper than a face lift - 35 and "holding".
