People mention searching the forums but I can't find a search function.

Hi, for the longest time I never used the search function on this forum; I never neeeded it. But later when I wanted to find something that I read in the past, I could never find it. It didn't matter if I typed six words or one word, I would get a thousand pages with titles nowhere near what I asked for. Now if I want to find something on the web, not this forum, I almost always find what I want. So, in my opinion, the search function on this forum needs to be re-tuned. Or, I can live happily ever after doing without the search function. [my experience]
