Here's an Idea!

Maybe a decal that reads: AirstreamForums.com ( gold rivet) Supporting Member ( gold rivet) for the back windows on the TV and Trailer! How does that sound? Ed

Bump

I thought we'd have an answer by now! Will there be any new forums sticker for continued support? Maybe Jack or AndyR will chime in! Ed

I'm sure y'all will get more stickers, the only thing I don't know about is if the stickers will be updated.

And gosh, it took squeezing through a keyhole with the Airstream licensing last time. Now ... if BIGED has a source for gold stick-on rivets? Post pictures!

How about....

Some of these!!!!!

Airstream Bumper Sticker

Airstream Bumper Sticker. Show your Airstream pride even when you are not towing with this removable bumper sticker. Measures 11.5 inches by 3 inches.

$2.95
Since we are approved by the mothership perhaps someone could ask them to donate these for our supporting members!
Bob, I think Gold Rivets would be a cool addition. One could be displayed for each year of renewed support. Two gold rivets per renewal one to be placed to the right of Air sticker on TV and Trailers. Then each additional year rotating to the left or right like the stars for Wbcci (5 year) membership! Or how about Large (6") BLUE vinyl Air forums number set for the coach. Front set on year (2) renewal and Rear set on year (3) renewal. I will check into vinyl number sets if this could be approved. I know I can make vinyl decal gold rivets fly if the okay is given for a sample set. What do you say... Ed

LOVE the bumper stickers!

BigEd -

Normally bumper stickers are the FURTHEST thing from anything I'll put on my vehicle, but the removable sounds like it might work.... removeable how?

I'll try anything once!

How about stickers, both "Air" and 'bumper' for those that sustain this valuable resource?? Loving the re-design, BTW!!!

Keep up the great work everyone!

Decals

Axel, I know of a shop here locally that makes and sells Vinyl decals. You can stick them on just about any surface (including glass) and they stay put! To remove just peel them off! If you are real careful not to damage them in many instances you can stick them back on later. I think the golden rivets with "AirstreamForums.com Supporting Member" would be coll additions to the rear of TV and Trailer/Moho. Ed

Open your user cp. Low in the left column under 'Miscellaneous,' click on 'Account Upgrades.' In the next screen your expiration date should be at the top right under the dark blue 'Active Subscriptions' bar. An enhanced membership will last only one year from initial payment.

the annual supporting member shake down...

it's been almost a year again...

so contributing member accounts are gonna start evaporating soon.

is there a PLAN in place to NOTIFY folks in advance?

or is it just gonna start happening?

have we got any NEW trinkets to give folks?

new sticker design?

tee shirt with an interactive member map on the back?

box-o'rivets with a 'surprise inside' as in cracker jacks?

let us know wizards behind the shower curtain.

cheers

I thought that this was a recurring subscription that would automatically renew each year. I still have my gold and my larger avatar and I have done nothing. I just assumed that it was renewing itself automatically. But our other forums ID, Wally54, got a message that it was due tio expire. When I tried to renew I got an error that the currency selected was not correct and it would not let me proceed.

Also, I don't see any expiration date anywhere on the CP as instructed above. Did this change since last year?

What currency are you all using in Nevada now? I couldn't find my expire date either, so I went and paid again. Now it says I will expire next February.

that's sort of scary.

maybe magazines should start mailing us 'expiration notices' instead of renewal forms...

cheers

ok looks like AUTOmation asked about in post #31, is moving forward!

i received this email prompt...

at a very appropriate point, just 48 hours b4 the deadline.

Your access to the paid subscription "Forum Stickers and Account Upgrade" is about to expire.

If you have selected a recurring subscription you will be automatically billed for the renewal,
else to renew this subscription you must visit http://www.airforums.com/forums/payments.php

If you do not extend your subscription, access will be removed.

All the best,
Airstream Forums

and the paypal coughed up my 20 bucks without a burp...

the only confusing thing is the note suggests "access" will be removed...

i realize the meaning is access to the features, but...

and isn't really just the 'account upgrade' that is lost?

we don't really have to return the stickers too?

cheers

and to answer this ? it appears that the LATER date is used, at least it was for me.

last/this week should start a small wave of renewals, since this upgrade stuff started about this time 2 years ago...

Stickers haven't changed at this time. I think we have reached a point where the software that produces the order report is working correctly. The plan is to do a run every 30 days or so. The last mailing covered contributions through Feb 7th.
