AFAIK, you can't. Once you pass your 15 minute editing window they can't be removed except by a moderator.
This leaves you with two options. You can either become a supporting member with unlimited attachments, or you can set up a photo account like Photobucket, and link the photos from there.

I find it interesting that this Forum...using the same standard Forum setup as several others I use...is the only one with this pay for posting feature. This has been discussed here before.....

You can post images in the gallery and then link to them from your posts. Gallery uploads are not limited. I'd also recommend that you reduce the image sizes. Most images can be under 100 K and there will be no discernible difference in image quality to viewers.

Yes it has and as stated before, there is no fee to use AIR forums. That said, servers, hosting and maintenance cost money. Image storage adds to this load and so for those who are able, willing, find value and good help here at AIR, the supporting membership is a welcome and needed help.

I just wanted to post a scanned page from the 1957 Directory to answer a request from a member who wanted some historical info on WBCC #502.

It has taken me since 2008 to reach my limit, so that doesn't feel like over-using the system. Why can't old uploads be deleated from the history?
Posting to the gallery is just too much trouble for me.

14000 members at about 20 each (WAG) is pretty steep photo storage. Maybe the advertising could pay a bit? How about that screwed up page flipper....they pay for that.

Just cough up the $20. You spent more on gas in the past three days and the financial support keeps this going. By removing old posts you remove content others might find of interest in the future. You are documenting your glory days as a child, why remove those?

Many forums I belong to have the two tiered membership. Free membership has limitations, such as size and quantity of photos, smaller (or no) avatars, etc., and the premium paid memberships have more features, such as more private messages, and access to premium member only areas. So, while this may be new to you, it is by no means new, nor is it the only forum with limitations on the free memberships.

There is a work-around as explained in post #4 by Janet...for those who are unable or don't care to monetarily support the site....so no one has to go without the ability to post images

Personally, I feel that the $20 to help support this site is one of the best investments we can make within the Airstream community. It's the most dynamic and information-packed site I know of...not to mention the value gained through individual friendships we can develop. Heck, we all spend more than that for a whole lot less and don't think anything of it.

I agree! I bought my AS on here, had it inspected, figured out how to do a ton of things no manual could provide, found great camping spots, went to my first rally and met new friends....all on Air Forums. Pretty good for $20!

It's cheaper than therapy, too.

I use photobucket.com. It's free, dead easy to use, I only post a link (so no "weight" on airforums.com) and later, if I want to change or remove the photo, I can without asking anybody to do it for me...

I also don't have to worry about how large the photo is, and that's precious.

Great idea.

However, I checked your link and I believe it is mislabeled.

I am pretty sure that is Hobbs and not Tigger.
