how do I adjust the size of the picture & do I upload one picture at a time

adjust the size of your pictures on your computer using whatever program you like- the one that came with your camers, or adobe photoshop, microsoft image composer,photodraw, or a number of others.
Right click on the picture and look at the properties to see how big it is. I adjust mine down to 700 or so x whatever number comes up - when you check the box to keep the aspect ratio the same so it doesn't distort as you make it smaller.

You can also open up the photo in miscrosoft word or publisher, and resize it manually by pulling the corners in. Then check the properties before you save it, and "save it as" a JPEG. It works better in a photo program so the background behind the photo shrinks along with the photo.

Well in both the forum or the photo album you can only up load one at a time. I for get what the max file size is but if you adjust hight to about 480pixils tall and about 50% compression if your dealing with something like MGI photo suite it should be fine. That will produce a full screen image that is about 60K Most monitors are incapable of veiwing a picture larger then 480 tall.
This picture is 480 pixles tall and it's 34k but see how clear it still is for being a small files size. The only time you need a huge file size is if your printing them. That same picture before compression that would make a good 4x6 print would be close to 600k (more if it had a lot of color to it.) Now I'm linking this out of the photo albums. To do that just up load the photo. Once you have the photo in the album click it to make it as large as possible. Then right click, on properties. Highlight and Cut (ctrl c ) the URL. Come back into your post and hit the "IMG" button. it will pop up a screen then paste (ctrl V ) in to the text box. If your using netscape the when you right click there should be a selection for Veiw image. Hit that and cut and past the URL aout of the address bar at the top.
Doing it this way would let you add many pictures to one post. If your loading to just the post then they software will only let one image per post.
Can you tell I'm still stuck with dial up at home? Have to keep files small so I don't fall asleep waithing for them to load LOL. This was proably not the best image to choose as a demo. I had cropped it down. If I had not croped it it would be 480 high and 680 or so wide. (that aspect ratio that Allen spoke of, forgot to mention that and he beat me to it)
