are you using your 'back' button or your 'new post' button? If using 'back' it may show because it's stored, but if you are using 'new posts' it won't because you go back out and get the 'new posts' again. If you use the 'today's posts' it will show all the threads with posts for the day...

Okay, I am so computer retarded that it's a wonder I even try to use this forum, but I have a question that will really reveal my ineptitude: Has the forum always had the "new posts" choice and has it always had the long list of posting covering several days? Or is this new??? When I had read "new posts," as a heading, I was totally wrong in my impression of what it would be: thinking that probably it was just a list of 3 or 4 postings I had not yet read. Instead, it is the long list of past entries that I always thought should be an option but mistakenly thought was not one. Okay, you all can see how dumb I am about the use of this forum and its software, but maybe someone else is out there like me, who would also be thrilled to discover this long list of posts that include some I had missed or dispaired of finding again. enough! ~G

There have been changes recently. Currently "new posts" return a list of all the posts you haven't looked at in the last day as well as new stuff since your last visit. You can look at a list of posts for the last 24 hours by clicking on "Quick links" and selecting last 24 hours form the drop down menu.
I think....

When you first log in be sure to click remember me. If that doesn't fix your issue, PM a moderator. It will be helpful to know what your Operating system and browser are.... we will try to help.

A couple days ago, the forum was displaying the title, original poster's name and original posting date with the replying poster's date and time. Can we get that back? Can you fix "Lastest Posts"? Dennis

Is this a new feature?
Go to User CP and look at the bottom of Edit Options. Is this something new?
Inspector Type
We have many members that are willing to help each other by inspecting a nearby trailer or motorhome that might be states away for a forum member that would like to buy it.
[radio buttons for following choices] Trailer Inspector Only Motorhome Inspector Only I can help inspect both... Argosy Inspector Only
How far are you willing to drive to inspect?
Please let us know how far you are willing to drive to take a look at a unit in order to help out another member?
[field to fill in distance]
Do you offer courtesy parking?
Please let us know if you can offer members courtesy parking. In the next field you can put more details about this.
[radio buttons for following choices] Yes No
Is it implemented yet? It'd be curious how we'd be able to be notified, etc. It certainly would be helpful making the ideas permanent in the 'So you want to buy a trailer that is 3 states away???' thread ( http://http://www.airstreamforums.co...ead.php?t=7387).
[Lifted from my post in the 'Warn (0%)' thread.]

And another question...
I've been mystified how the Upgrade has been behaving in Firefox, so have checked it out in IE also. I usually sign into the Portal page. We used to be 'remembered' if we wished to make a reply or go to User CP -- after the upgrade I have to sign in again. But I have learned to take the extra step of telling it to 'Remember me' when I first sign in. Necessary?
The 'upgraded' hyperlink function displays straight URLs only. Is there any way to go back to being able to make a descriptive title; e.g., [URL="http://www.airforums.com"]Millionaire's Delight![/url]? (or however the heck it used to work?)
Thanks!

I am getting mixed results with Firefox...on one machine everything is running about normal...I can use the smilies and all the buttons at the top of the page seem to work properly (WinXP Pro sp2, Firefox 1.0.6.) the other machine is about the same except it has WinSP pro without the SP2 and a more current update of Firefox...I cannot run the smilies or the buttons from that one.... I am glad I aren't a software injuneer....

Airstreamforums.com/photos
Am I wrong or is this harder to find a particular member's photos? I recall seeing the full alphabet choices before, so it was easy getting to one particular set of photos. Whassup? Suggestions?

Not sure if it's harder or not (can't remember) but ...
Click on the photos tab (at top)
Scroll down and click on "members photos"
View alpha list - select appropriate letter
Find member...etc
Hope this helps
