Classifieds - how do I update my ad

I am getting a message that my ad will expire in 3 days... I can not for the life of me figure out how to renew it. Please help. Pam

Didn't you get a link with it to click on? I always get one. Paste the link into your browser, hit enter, and you are renewed...

I did get a link... it just takes me to the ad... and then what? I have done this several times, yet I keep getting the warnings.

pamelake, I'm not sure that cutting and pasting works as suggested. Aage, does that work for you? I usually suggest click the link as if to open. That accomplishes the renewal, but the classifieds software has a blind spot on being user friendly and won't tell you that you did anything (but it did). The ad will still keep the original date that you placed the ad. You'll know indirectly when the renewal emails stop coming. In spite of what it might say on-screen, renewals do not last the term of the original ad; they last only 14-15 days.

In my case (I use Chrome, by the way), the link I get isn't live, I have to copy and paste the link into another browser window then press enter.

I then get a message saying that the ad has been renewed. If I don't do anything when I get the first ad, it repeats until either the item expires, or I renew.
