I have placed an ad, however when I send myself a test message to assure that everything is working properly, I never receive my test message. Any help I can get would be appreciated. Thanks

I used the "contact seller" button to send you a test message. If you get the message, reply in the email, if not, reply here on this thread.

I often talk to myself out loud.
The trouble is that while I'm talking I can't hear what I'm saying
